As mentioned in an earlier post, we are trying to get back to our normal routine this week, but today has not been a "normal" day for us. Micah has been under the weather and today I took him to the doctor. He's done so well at fighting off sickness for a long while, but this time it took over. Because our day was interrupted with a doctor's visit, our school was interrupted. But we did manage to sneak in a craft (after some book work).

Today we made our own snowflakes. We've done these several times before, but it's a craft they love to do no matter how many times they've made them before. We used coffee filters (which I might add is a precious commodity in our house), cut them, and Micah and Lila painted them.





The weather man is calling for snow this week. It's been so cold that anything that falls will stick! We really want a good snow, so hopefully our homemade flakes will help bring down a lot more real ones!
