Before I get into Easter, I wanted to share about our trip up to Parrotsville. After we visited the Knoxville Zoo, we decided to spend the night with my sister rather than drive back home the same day. Of course the kids were just as excited to see family as they were to see the zoo. :)
Tad got out his camera and took some great pictures of the kids playing. I think the kids were outside more than they were inside!
Ellie Anna and Nettie had a rope or hose or something hanging in a tree so they played and played in that tree.
Lila's hair was a mess, but she still makes great pictures.

And my favorite...
Hopefully next time we can stay a bit longer, but it was nice seeing everyone no matter how short the visit.
A couple of weeks ago, Tad took a short vacation from work and we went to the Knoxville Zoo. We haven't been in a couple of years...I think I was pregnant with Jude the last time we went.
The weather was great for an outdoor field trip.

It was actually so warm that we had to stop for a drink halfway through.
The turtles were not there because of the cooler weather, but there was a statue that was great for picture taking.

Two years ago, Micah was the only one to ride on the camel. This year Drennan said he thought he was brave enough to do it, and of course Lila wanted to as well.

We had a lot of fun. They were so excited to go that it took a few days for us to get rested from it. :)
This post is long overdue. Lila turned 4 back in February, and she had a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party. I haven't had much time to get the photos off the memory card til recently.
Tad made the birthday invitations.

She was so excited she couldn't hardly contain herself!
She was being very shy when we sang happy birthday.
But she had a great time!
