We had our annual Hay Haw Show this weekend. It was a blast, but exhausting. We didn't get in the bed til close to midnight Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The kids were great telling their jokes. Even Lila and her cousin Cohen sat on stage during some skits. It was a lot of fun.

Yesterday we had our church egg hunt. For some reason it always seems to rain on our church egg hunt day. And boy did it rain yesterday! We're talking torrential rains. The egg hunt was fun inside though and the kids had a good time.

Saturday it was nice, warm weather, Sunday it rained all day, and today we're having snow! Crazy weather! But spring has officially began and that means baseball for us. We're excited that Micah will be playing this year.

I asked Tad to make a picture of Jude in his original Hee Haw overalls, and he suggested we all get in the picture. I think it turned out well.

Jude was in a smiley mood yesterday so Tad made some more cute shots of him alone. We haven't had Jude's picture made at Sears at all unlike the other kids had by this age, so hopefully Tad can get some good formal shots of him soon. It's hard for me to pay lots of money for pictures made by someone else when we have such a good photographer here at home!

One of Tad's favorite things to do outdoors is have a campfire. Last spring (and summer too) he and the boys went out most evenings to our "campsite" and built a campfire. I'll try and get some pictures later of what our campsite looks like, but for now I wanted to post these pictures Tad took of the kids while hangin out around the campfire.

I love these overalls on Micah. He's going to wear them in the Hay Haw Show this weekend.

Truth be known I didn't get out to the campsite much last summer because I was pregnant and too tired to walk out there most days. Hopefully this year I'll have more energy and have my turn to roast marshmallows too.

Jude was super smiley this day, so we couldn't resist getting a few shots of him.

The weather has been nice this week so we've spent as little time as possible indoors. As soon as Drennan went out yesterday and felt the warm air, he put his shoes on and stayed out most of the day. Baseball is going to start soon and Drennan and Micah are both psyched about playing. They've been practicing throwing, catching, and batting. It seems they can't get enough of it right now.

We haven't had many pictures of Jude made lately, well, in the last few weeks. :)
So I asked Tad to take a few. He is 4 1/2 months old and growing so much every day. He is such a happy baby with lots of patience, which is a must since I can't always get to him right away. The other kids get so excited when Jude shows off his rolling over technique, and he throws the excitement back at them by smiling and kicking his legs.
