My cousin, Beth, and her family came over today for Tad to take their picture. After a few family shots, Cohen and Lila decided to pose. Keep in mind that Lila was not dressed to have her picture made, but she looks pretty cute anyway.
This pose was completely Cohen's idea.

After the first pose he decided (on his own) to change positions. These two are the best of buds. They are so funny together.

We had sort of a hard time getting Cohen to smile in the family shot, but he was having so much fun swinging and smiling without being told to that Tad thought it would be a good time to keep snapping away.

Tad's been making pictures of the kids the last couple of nights. I thought they turned out really good.

Micah was last to have his made with the baby and Jude was asleep.

Jude was awake for his picture with Lila and Drennan. He didn't complain though.

Again, I can't believe he's one month old.

About the first 3 months with a baby are the hardest since the baby depends on Mom for so much. I'm a little anxious to get those months over with so that it's not quite so exhausting around here, but then again they grow so fast that I want him to stay little for as long as possible.

I can't believe Jude is 4 weeks old already. He has starting losing his hair on top, and I'm anxious to see if it's going to come back in red like Drennan's, brown like Micah's, blond like Lila's, or maybe black like Tad's.

Sunday marks one month since Jude was born. We're still keeping a low profile, so there's quite a few people who haven't seen him yet other than pictures. Unfortunately we had to get out for most of yesterday. Micah had speech, I had to go get another contact since I dropped mine down the drain, and then we all had swine flu shots. Today should be more calm. So glad the weekend is almost here.

Well, we haven't made any pictures lately...we'd better get on the ball since I think we made Drennan's picture as a baby several times a week. I thought I would go ahead and post about what we've been up to.

Little Jude had to go to the doctor last week because of a bad sinus problem and cough. I've never had a little baby sick before, but I've never had a baby born during cold/flu season either. He's on an antibiotic and is doing better. My other kids have all had a cough and runny nose, but they are all better.

We are getting out little by little. I still don't want the baby exposed to many people (at least at one time) so we are mostly staying in. On the bright side, that means we are saving money. No gas, no eating out as much, no shopping. On the down side, there are times that we need to be out and see people, especially since we live in the woods and don't hardly even see cars going by.

I should have some pictures to post soon. Tad has been working on videos and recordings with the kids so maybe I can post some of those too.
