Our church always has a Christmas Eve service complete with plays from the kids and youth and a visit from Santa. Three of our kids were in the play this year.

Drennan was Joseph. He did great!

Lila was an angel. This was her first year in the play and I wasn't sure if she would stand up there the whole time, especially since she hadn't had a nap that day. But she was perfect.

Micah was a Wise Man. He had his lines memorized but looked to me for cues. I think he got a little stage fright. He made a really cute Wise Man.

The evening was fun with the kids in the play and seeing Santa. The only down note was when one of my nieces, who came all the way from Virginia Beach, got the stomach flu. She wasn't able to go down to my Dad's mom's house after the play with us. The next morning (Christmas day) three more nieces had the stomach flu. So, Christmas with my parents and sister's families was postponed for a day. No biggie for us because we still got to celebrate with them on Saturday. This meant though that our Christmas day was very relaxed. We were at home for most of the day, and the kids got to enjoy their gifts from us and Santa.

Tad is off from work this whole week so it will be nice to have him around here with us. Lots of stuff to do!

It was a treat for Sharon and me to be able to attend -- inspite of the rain. The kids were terrific.

Sorry to hear that everyone got sick --- hope no one else gets it. Poor Kelley! Stinks to have a bunch of kids sick at once.
