During the bad storms a couple of weeks ago, we had some trees to fall down in our yard. Tad has been very busy (with his new chainsaw) cutting up the trees. The other night after he finished cutting some more, Lila and Jude went outside with him and Lila started laying out pieces of wood. I told her it looked like a small maze, and then we quickly started making it bigger and bigger.


The next morning we told the boys about it. Without hesitation they went outside and started adding to what we already had. It was lots of fun for them. They played most of the day with the maze!

It's been cold the last couple of days, and we are all anxiously awaiting to go back out and add to our wood maze. Oh the fun you can have with nature when you use your imagination!!
