We're nearing the end of the school year and the kids (as well as myself) are looking forward to summer. Sometimes it's hard to stay on task and hard to get motivated to even begin a task. So, for Drennan's spelling we decided to change it up a bit and let him write his spelling words on his desk in shaving cream.

I kept Jude away for awhile, but he somehow managed to sneak in the room and charge at Drennan's desk. Oh well, it made for a cute picture. Drennan's pretty laid back so he didn't mind having help with his words. :)


Lila has been working on her letters. We're doing a letter of the week, and she loves it. It's so great to have an eager learner again.

We made cookies when we were on the letter C. She decided to make other letters rather than just C. Didn't realize til after the picture was made that we made BMW. ha.


Lila has recently received quite a few hand-me-downs, which we LOVE, and this time we got several dresses. She wore a different dress every day this week and was too cute to not be photographed in them!




We have been playing outside so much lately since the weather has been warm. One day this week I had the camera out and Jude sat in a chair and called for me to take a picture of him.


This little stinker is all over the place. I turned around one day to find him sitting on top of the play pen playing with a toy he quickly stole after Lila sat it down for 2 seconds.
