I didn't think I was going to get a post in today, but thankfully I have a few minutes before going to bed. I can't believe that eight years ago Drennan was born!! I just can't believe he is 8!
We had a party today with a Harry Potter theme. My brother-in-law decorated the cake for us. We also had several types of goodies that you read about in the books, such as chocolate frogs.
Drennan really wanted to have his party on his actual birthday instead of waiting for the weekend. One of the advantages of having a summer birthday. :) The only thing is we are also having Vacation Bible School this week, so I'm pretty frazzled. One more night of VBS and hopefully we can rest for a few days.
Drennan got some great gifts and had a good time playing around.

Yes, we actually moved down to the new house a couple of weeks ago ---but I'm still working on arranging things.
Our den area/basement/playroom area is still stacked with boxes.
In fact, that is what I need to be doing now.....=)
It was good to see Chris and Kelley at conference -- we live about 20 minutes from Lake Junaluska. In fact, I drive to Waynesville about once a week. My favorite Ingle's is over there. You should come visit us sometime =)
