Last Tuesday my sister, Kelley, and her family were in town so we decided to all get together and make Gingerbread Houses. Each family (the Postons were there too) had their own house. The Stanfields actually had a house AND a tree that they decorated. (see pictures below)
Drennan, who is very competitive, was a little upset that his Uncle Chris helped Nettie and Ellie. Chris has artistic abilities that far surpasses mine. Needless to say their house looked a lot like the picture on the box.
This is our finished House. Sorry about the darkness, Tad's not here right now to brighten this pic.
The Postons were proud of their house. They personalized it by writing their name in icing on the back.
Here is the tree that Molly and Carson made. Pretty cool. Lucas is just being an annoying big brother trying to get in the picture. He didn't help with the decorating. He just ate the leftover icing.
Nettie and Ellie's house looks great. There's even snow on the bushes.
Here is Baby Lila in her Christmas dress. She loves to pose.
Here is a glimpse of Drennan and Micah coming down the stairs on Christmas morning.
They were very excited!
Lila looks so grown up in that dress ... say it isn't so!!!
I am always so exited to see the things going on at your house, Wendy. Many fun activities and the pictures are precious. I love all the photos. As I've said often, it is wonderful that you have so much family surrounding you.
FUN STUFF!!

love the gingerbread houses....and I sort of agree with Drennan....Chris shouldn't have been allowed to help ---- although the houses all look good. What happened to to mom's in the pictures?
haha my dad's house was just too much! I love Micah's face in the bottom picture. I remember being that excited on Christmas morning before. good times.
