Drennan was asked to play on an indoor soccer team this year. We were unsure at first because we had just finished fall soccer and we wanted a break from having to be gone from home every evening. After talking it over with some indoor soccer veterans who said it wasn't very time consuming, we decided to give it a try.

I'm glad we did. Drennan loved it! It's different from outdoor soccer. Different rules and very, very fast. Also no out-of-bounds so you can kick it off the wall. It's very cool to watch and apparently lots of fun to play.


The problem with playing indoors though is bad lighting. :( Well not really a problem for the game, but a problem for those trying to take quality pictures. :)

Drennan is #2 in the red. His team was called the Snipers.


He was paired up quite a bit with the kid on the right. Since there are only 4 players at a time on the court from each team (one being the goalie), the two forwards worked together a lot and these two made a pretty good team.





I'm thankful there weren't a lot of games, and even more thankful that Drennan had fun.
Micah was disappointed he didn't get on a team. Maybe next year...
